ABOUT FARMING FOR SOIL HEALTH
IN SOUTHERN MINNESOTA
The goal of this website is to improve information flow and highlight farmers in southern Minnesota that are using reduced tillage and cover crops and other practices that improve soil health. This collaborative project in southern Minnesota was developed by farmers, conservation professionals and academia.

The project was shaped by a farmer advisory committee. Key components of the project are to develop an online resource that includes videos of local farmers answering frequently asked questions about soil health practices, a virtual tour, and a driving tour that links to field signs. Overall, the aim is to develop and collect resources that will help to support increased adoption of soil health practices in southern Minnesota.
